We are a small neighbourhood pharmacy, and we treat the information you send us the way we treat you at the counter: it stays with our team, it is used only for your care, and it is never sold or shared with marketing companies. This page explains, in plain language, what this website collects and what happens to it.
You only give us information when you choose to send a form. The refill and transfer form asks for your name, phone number, and prescription details. The prescriber form asks for a clinician's name, role, clinic, and contact. The weight-loss clinic intake asks for more, because a prescriber needs it: contact details, health history, current medications, and your Personal Health Number.
This website does not use advertising trackers, analytics cookies, or social media pixels. Browsing the site sends us nothing.
Submissions go directly to the Mediglen pharmacy team. No third-party form company or marketing platform ever sees them. They are encrypted on the way to us, stored in a secure database that only our staff can open, and every time a staff member opens a record, that access is logged.
Like most Canadian websites, we rely on established service providers for website hosting, the database, and email delivery, and some of their infrastructure may be located outside Canada. We keep what the website holds to a minimum: your permanent pharmacy record lives in our dispensary system at the pharmacy, not on this website.
Your PharmaNet medication record is never shared through this website. It is accessed only by our pharmacists, inside the pharmacy, to check your medication history and screen for interactions, exactly as it would be if you walked in.
The weight-loss intake saves your progress in your own browser so you can pause and come back. That saved copy never leaves your device, is deleted automatically after 7 days, and can be removed at any time with the "Clear my saved answers" link on the form. If you use a shared computer, we recommend clearing it when you are done.
Website submissions are a working queue. Once handled, the relevant details become part of your pharmacy record, which we are required to retain under College of Pharmacists of BC rules. Information is shared with a reviewing prescriber only with your consent, which you give as part of the intake form.
We handle personal information under Canada's federal privacy law (PIPEDA) and BC's Personal Information Protection Act. You can ask us at any time to see the information you sent through this website, to correct it, or to delete it, subject to the record-keeping rules that apply to pharmacies.
